Position Summary Provide support to senior team members in financial analysis related to short and long-term strategies that may include ongoing operating performance, development or re-development scenarios, re-positioning strategies, re-leasing initiatives, and acquisition/disposition analysis. Position Duties and Responsibilities Build pro forma property valuation models using Excel and Argus for all property types and varying ownership structures and business objectives; maintain and update Excel/Argus models on a quarterly basis or as otherwise necessary to monitor asset performance. Prepare recurring monthly and quarterly reporting for distribution to the board of directors, operations, senior management and investment partners. Support the operations and accounting teams in the creation of annual business plans and quarterly reforecasting for each asset and the implementation of value-added strategies within the portfolio. Support the property management team in the forecasting of capital budgets / capital plans for each asset. Review tenant lease requests and other ad-hoc support of the leasing team. Monitor the financial performance of each asset relative to internal forecasts and debt requirements. Support the capital markets team as they evaluate debt financing/refinancing and new acquisitions. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, supporting sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, closing processes, and post-acquisition asset management responsibilities. Update processes, procedures and best practices where necessary. Assist the senior investment team in sourcing and evaluating new acquisitions. Serve as key member of the Asset Management and Capital Markets group in evaluating and analyzing a portfolio of retail, office, residential, hotel, and mixed-use assets. Other tasks and projects as assigned by management. Protect employer's privacy and data; keep passwords safe. Knowledge and Skills Must be well organized and able to multi-task with limited supervision while adhering to deadlines. A collegial temperament; able to work effectively in a small team and to contribute to areas beyond the direct scope of responsibility; must have a "hands-on" / "roll up your sleeves" mentality. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically able to model proficiently in Excel. Familiarity with retail and retail recovery methodologies a plus Ability and willingness to travel as needed. Able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years asset management or acquisition experience. Bachelor's degree required. Proficiency in Argus and MRI/Yardi (or another property management software) preferred.
