We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Adecco for our client in Fredericktown, OH. In this role, you will assemble conveyor systems and subassemblies according to mechanical drawings and specifications using hand tools and measuring devices. Key Responsibilities: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to accurately assemble equipment and products. Perform sub-assembly and final assembly tasks. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe assembly area. Conduct tests and inspections to ensure product quality meets customer standards. Problem-solve assembly processes and determine the necessary tools for each job. Adhere to safety procedures while using hand and power tools. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes and precision measuring instruments. Proficient in interpreting measurements and performing basic mathematical calculations (including metric and English conversions). Experience with hand tools and a commitment to equipment safety. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees. Valid driver's license required. Work Environment: This position is based in a shop environment requiring PPE per OSHA standards. You may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The work may involve tight deadlines and requires flexibility to work beyond normal shifts when necessary. Ability to work in varying climate and temperature conditions is essential. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use hands for assembly tasks. Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling may be necessary. Must regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds. Requires good vision, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position involves repetitive tasks.
