The Manager will provide Development Coordinator duties for our Outstate MO Team supporting all campaigns (Heart Walk, Go Red for Women, and Heart Ball) and generate revenue for the St. Louis Heart Walk campaign. This position will be located in St. Louis with travel to the Outstate territories only for the event day. This is a full-time position and offers a hybrid schedule. We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers. Be Valued at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), . **Responsibilities** + Provides a wide variety of skilled logistical, administrative, clerical and data management support to assigned core events. Ensures a high quality of service is provided to all staff, volunteers, and other external and internal customers. + Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates fundraising events including coordinating the logistics according to best practices, timelines, and budget. Procures necessary resources and in-kind donations. Recruits, manages, and engages event volunteers. Provides day-of-event support. + Fundraising responsibilities for the St. Louis Heart Walk campaign include recruiting companies, coaches, and walkers to meet fundraising targets. + Develop, input, and maintain information in appropriate computer software programs, including a CRM and event specific software. + Handle report generation, including manipulating data from multiple systems. + Responsible for accurate, timely processing of donations in accordance with established requirements and standards. **Qualifications** + 2 years of relevant experience preferred; college graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. + Demonstrated track record in donor and volunteer relations. + Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with proactive communication, thorough planning and execution and allocating/providing resources, additional support or training. + Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to consistently maintain a professional, calm, and friendly manner in creating positive customer experiences externally and internally. + Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential issues that may impact organizational productivity and/or compliance and address proactively and timely. + Effective project management and event management skills in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. + Experience in positively managing change including anticipating and championing organizational change, creating contingency plans, proactively considering short-term and long-term impact. **Here are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:** + Knowledge of the American Heart Associations standards and procedures. + Experience with sales or fundraising strategies. + Experience managing volunteers. **Compensation & Benefits** The American Heart Association invests in its people.
