Job Description: The Appraisal Environmental & Reporting (AER) Analyst supports the Credit Risk Department. The AER Analyst is responsible for ordering appraisals in compliance with FIRREA and FDICIA Banking Regulations, as appropriate. The role requires collaborative relationships with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, 3rd Party Appraisal and Environmental Vendors, and Title Attorneys. This role requires delivery of timely and accurate responses due to a fast paced environment. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Coordinates the ordering and reviewing of appraisals and environmental reports accurately and on time. Adheres to FIRREA, FDICIA and Bank Policies when ordering and reviewing appraisals Analyzes 3rd party Environmental Reports for increased risk to the collateral supporting the loan. Reviewing and compiling data for HMDA, CRA and 1502 reporting Manages invoices and reviews settlement fees Organization is critical as numerous construction requisitions may be simultaneously in process. Escalates identified risks during the Appraisal, and Environmental processes to direct manager with proposed solution and/or mitigation. Qualifications Required Skills: BA in business related field and 3-5+ years of experience within Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate & experience preferred. Commercial Banking knowledge required inclusive of familiarity of: Loan Approval Process Appraisal and Environmental FIRREA and FDICIA requirements HMDA, CRA, Reg. B & Flood Requirements Loan Documentation SBA Programs / Reporting Ability to multitask competing priorities Adaptable to changing environment, proving improved solutions Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and address competing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel and Power BI skills, necessary Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems (Credit Quest) Compensation: Offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
