Job Type Full-time Description Responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and/or performing a variety of duties to support the commercial loan function; achieving goals as established in the Bank's business objectives; coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other divisions, units, or departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for commercial loan and general banking functions; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports. Direct customer contact required. 1. Performs a variety of duties to support the assigned function, supervisor, team members, and other bank service partners of which the following are illustrative: a. Types correspondence, memos, forms, tables, reports, etc.; utilizes word processing, spreadsheet, and specialized departmental equipment/software and various bank based and web-based applications. b. Answers and places telephone calls; assists callers if possible or transfers calls to the proper individual or department; takes and delivers messages; greets and assists department visitors. Maintains awareness of business opportunities with customers and prospects during customer interactions. c. Coordinate and collaborate with team members to communicate with clients to request and obtain confidential and sensitive financial information. Maintain accurate and organized electronic files of such information. d. Overall support and coordination where applicable to support the front and back end of the commercial loan origination process, including client due diligence to comply with Beneficial Ownership and Business Account Onboarding Questionnaire completion, ordering various searches, coordinating with third party settlement services, insurance agents, other outside and internal service providers such as Commercial Document Preparation and Loan Servicing. Other origination duties as necessary. e. Accurate maintenance, updates, and various inputs to the Bank commercial loan origination system to ensure system and data integrity. Produces reports as necessary. Ability to learn and become proficient in such system applications required. 2. Serves as a liaison between customers, regional staff, and Commercial Loan Officers by providing exceptional customer service as inquiries come in and customers make requests for informational updates, return phone calls on outstanding matters, etc. Some outbound customer contact may be required. 3. Assists regional staff and Commercial Loan Officers with following up on, and resolution of, open items. Places outreach calls to loan customers to obtain documentation; maintains follow-up giving priority to critical items. 4. Works directly with the Portfolio Manager(s), Commercial Loan Officers, Supervisor, and clients to coordinate the Large Borrower Review process. Develops, maintains, and communicates checklists by client relationships for said items. 5. Coordinated assistance and back up for various Porfolio Manager(s) responsibilities as applicable and in their absence. 6. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor or Chief Lending Officer as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. 7. Responds to inquiries relating to their particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy. 8. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment, which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. 9. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. 10 . Ability and willingness to meet the requirements and perform the duties of a Pennsylvania Notary. 11. Other shared administrative duties may be required. Requirements Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum. Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient typing skills; ability to operate word processing equipment or sufficient knowledge to use word processing and spreadsheet software or other applicable software; knowledge of various office machines; working knowledge of commercial banking products and services; ability to walk, bend, stand, reach, and stoop. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions normally required. Experience in a related commercial lending position preferred.
