Production Assembler - 1st Shift Location : Fenton, MO Pay : $17.73/ hr - paid weekly Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday Job Summary: The Production Assembler is responsible for building products according to specifications, ensuring quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Key Responsibilities: Order Preparation Obtain work orders from the lead person Review bill of materials for descriptions, quantities, and required parts Read routing instructions carefully and report labor to the correct sequence Confirm any unclear instructions with lead or supervisor Assembly Process Request production assembly drawings when required Inspect all parts as they are used Verify flanges with a .0015" feeler gauge (max depth: 1/8") Check for quality issues (e.g., porosity, torn threads, bad paint) per instructions Lubricate all designated threaded areas Quality Control Set aside any nonconforming materials in designated areas for review Communicate assembly issues (e.g., bad parts, unclear instructions) to lead, supervisor, or inspector Work Area Maintenance Clear and organize the work area after each work order Return special tools, equipment, and drawings to proper locations Use of Downtime Refill consumable parts bins, clean work area, and prepare for next work order Benefits: • Health insurance • Health savings account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible spending accounts • Life insurance • Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
