Software Engineer

Our client is a hypergrowth AI startup that enables litigators to find key evidence faster and more thoroughly. It uncovers the hidden stories in their data while ensuring top-tier security practices. They are backed by Gradient, Google's AI investment arm, Soma Capital (owners of the Sacramento Kings), HFO (with LPs such as Marc Andreessen), and several strategic angel investors who are successful entrepreneurs and lawyers. Role Overview: As a Software Engineer, you'll be integral in designing, building, and maintaining our microservices architecture using Python. You'll work with a dynamic team to develop innovative AI solutions that address real-world challenges in the legal industry. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable microservices. Write clean, maintainable Python code. Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Optimize application performance. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies. Maintain comprehensive documentation. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in microservices architecture. Proficiency in Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of monitoring tools and testing frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. Compensation: Salary: $150k - $200k Equity: 0.5% - 1.0% Hybrid position based in NYC
