Cost/Price Analyst, Federal Contracting - Contingent Washington, DC Full Time #1221 - Client Services Experienced Share ( This position is contingent on the award of a federal contract. IMSolutions seeks a Cost/Price Analyst to fill exciting opportunities supporting the federal government. This position is located in Washington, DC, with the possibility of being remote/hybrid. As the Cost/Price Analyst - Federal Contracting , you will receive and address vendor inquiries during steady state and disaster-response operations. You will develop a leadership engagement strategy to align leadership with effective strategic and business planning, focusing on a total program management approach to acquisitions. These functions include. Aiding the program offices in preparing IGCEs. Such assistance may include and is not limited to research and analysis of past procurements of similar products or services, current market value of the products or services, available industry price lists and catalogs, and/or other agency purchases of similar products and services. Performs price and cost analyses on the various elements of contractor proposals using multiple techniques. Assist the Contracting Officer in appropriately documenting price reasonableness, establishing pre-negotiation and final negotiation objectives, and developing incentive structures. Support the tracking and analysis of various contract types, including but not limited to Other Than Firm-Fixed-Price contracts (OTFFP) Provide cost/financial analysis support to CORs to ensure invoices accurately reflect service costs. Provide administrative and cost analysis support to facilitate the close-out activities of contracts and task/delivery orders. What we are looking for. Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (business, economics, accounting, etc.) with at least eight (8) years of experience (or Master's degree with at least six (6) years of experience) within the acquisition field required. Experience and subject matter expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies, including Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR) and Homeland Security Acquisition Manual (HSAM), with the ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standard and agency standards towards effecting "sound business judgment." Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years. Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes; military court-martials, delinquent federal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application. Base compensation range and benefits: $95,000 to $125,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
