Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated leadership; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 13 years of demonstrated leadership. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Utilizing your extensive knowledge of government contracting and acquisition practices, the Strategy and Business Development Director directs business development activities for products and/or services to government agencies or private firms. We'll rely on you to maintain key business development contacts with current and potential customers and evaluate and manage new business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. You'll oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs, as well as define vision, strategies, and tactics for assigned business development opportunities. You'll also assist in the formulation of advertising campaigns, approve publicity releases and promotional activities and develop and administer schedules and performance requirements. You'll provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. What you'll experience: Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discovered What you bring to the table: Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated leadership; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 13 years of demonstrated leadership Experience enhancing trusted partnerships within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the IC, across the United States Government (USG), and with industry, leveraging innovative capabilities to enhance and integrate the intelligence mission Established network in the Intelligence Community, actively meet with potential clients, identify new business opportunities, and pass appropriate information to Capture Managers for identified strategic pursuits. Familiar with the strategic plans and budgets of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to justify high priority technological programs. helping develop the Intel Systems comprehensive IC strategy from multiple agencies and mission areas. Familiarity with Congressional oversight of DoD and Intelligence Community investments and programs, including Congressional support for intelligence budget. Develops messaging and outreach plans for congressional committees to justify investment requests. Intimate knowledge of the NIP, MIP, and Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Evaluation (IPPBE) and the PPBE process for allocating resources for DOD civilian and military leaders to decide which programs and force structure requirements to fund based on strategic objectives. Ability to formulate near and long-term business strategies, identify and shape opportunities, and align them to business investments. Strong people skills to include customer engagements, capability discussions, and articulating technology to mission value.
