Job Summary: This position will be responsible for cleaning of plant, office and outside areas including maintaining a clean work environment to assure employee and visitor safety by meets OSHA standards. Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires the stocking and inventory of janitorial supplies. Maintaining daily sweeping and mopping of floor surfaces. Requires stripping and waxing of floor surfaces according to maintenance schedule. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of floor scrubbing machine. Additional responsibilities include washing windows, painting walls, and ceilings as needed. The removal of snow by operating the snow blower on sidewalks and emergency exits. Snow shoveling and operation of salt dispensing equipment. Removal of waste materials from production and office areas. Cleaning and disinfecting of cafeteria area and all restrooms throughout the facility. Vacuum cleaning of all areas with carpeting. Assist with machine repair in production when required. Required to maintain a clean work environment to assure employee and visitor safety by meeting OSHA standards. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or GED equivalent required This position requires physically being able to bend, stretch and stoop but not limited to only these physical activities. Requires lifting of 40lbs or more without assistance. Requires normal hand, eye and walking coordination. Must be able to work from a scissors lift. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Must be familiar with general hand tools. Individual will be exposed to all kinds of weather. Good communication skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
