Manager Trainee

Gobble Stop is looking for a friendly, energetic, responsible individual as a full-time manager trainee position at a locally-owned convenience store. Manager trainees will be taught the responsibilities of daily store operations, including: Merchandise receiving Daily paperwork Auditing Scheduling Training and supervising employees Enforcing all safety and security policies Vendor management Other responsibilities include sales and profitability, as well as managing the many aspects of the convenience store: Improving store sales and profitability Store inventory Cash handling Store maintenance Requirements: Must be 21 years old Must have valid driver's license Must pass background and drug tests Must possess basic math and computer skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods Ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus Ability to smell and identify odors Ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications Position includes weekends, holidays, & nights.
