Tax Manager (CPA)

Req Number 140394 FlexStaff is seeking a Tax Manager to join our client's team, a leading consumer goods company. This position is a permanent, direct-hire role, 100% onsite in Nassau County. This person will be responsible for the company's tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes. Candidates must have experience with planning for pass-through entities designed for high-net-worth individuals and experience with closely held entities. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for completion of federal and state income tax returns including all related analysis and support Conduct tax planning Liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues Ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes Manage, develop, train and mentor staff on tax projects. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in accounting. Master's degree in taxation preferred CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Knowledge of S Corp returns Experience with corporate and individual tax returns Must be current with tax legislation.
