Overview Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Sales, the National Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for SHARP's National Accounts. This includes: New product placements: Identifying opportunities to introduce new SHARP products to key retailers. Forecasting: Projecting sales and identifying trends to inform decision-making. Sell-thru promotions: Creating and implementing promotional campaigns to drive sales at the retail level. Presentations: Delivering persuasive presentations to key stakeholders within National Accounts. Relationship building: Cultivating strong relationships with senior leadership at The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, all Military Exchanges, and other assigned accounts. The National Account Manager will have a specific sales quota and is expected to achieve success by: Setting clear goals and expectations for customers and the market. Establishing measurable milestones and tracking progress regularly. Maintaining open communication with the team and providing weekly updates. Identifying and addressing potential threats and opportunities. Submitting detailed sales call reports and collaborating closely with product/brand marketing, operations, and supply chain management teams. In addition to meeting sales targets, the National Account Manager will foster a high-performance culture by: Inspiring and motivating team members to achieve shared objectives. Providing clear communication, coaching, and feedback. Negotiating effectively and demonstrating strong leadership skills. Building a team environment based on mutual respect, support, and loyalty to the company. This position is responsible for managing relationships with key national accounts, including The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, all Military Exchanges and others as assigned. The position is home office based with an Atlanta, GA or Dallas,TX area are preferred. Responsibilities Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve and exceed assigned sales budgets. Achieve territory sales budget and fiscal quota across product categories. Provide accurate product forecasting by account and week, aligned with the sales budget. Travel to key accounts to present SHARP product lines and consult on sales strategies. Develop, communicate, and manage the performance of specific account sales revenue goals. Leverage customer, industry, and internal sales data to drive performance and maintain a competitive advantage. Lead client engagements and manage relationships at the C-Suite and middle management levels for large national accounts. Share relevant customer insights and reporting operations internally. Collaborate with product marketing to achieve SKU product placement. Partner with marketing communications and promotions to develop sell-thru programs and meet weekly/monthly sales targets. Attend PSI meetings and report on previous month's sales, inventory, and future needs. Manage an APO forecast for all product categories. Develop and manage a market development fund budget to maximize sales and ROI. Ensure effective time and territory management, including attending multiple daily department meetings. Maintain daily and weekly communication through written reports, videos, and mobile engagements with internal departments. Demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and people-management skills. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve organizational goals. Work collaboratively within a team-focused, matrixed environment. Consistently achieve profitable results aligned with SHARP Appliances' core mission. Analyze information and provide insightful solutions to problems and opportunities. Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of consumer electronic and/or appliance product sales experience. Proven track record of driving sales revenues exceeding $20-$40 million. Demonstrated passion for brand, product, and team through action and results. Expertise in sales strategies and tactics, with experience driving the sales process from strategy to close. Bachelor's degree in business, management, sales, or equivalent experience. Strong technical and business/economic foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, and sales tracking. Ability to interact with customers at all levels, including negotiating and presenting to senior management. Proven ability to articulate the unique aspects of various products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience and success in managing national accounts. Computer mastery of Microsoft Office software suite. High level of energy, integrity, and execution skills. Willingness to travel 30-35%, including potential international travel to Japan. Compensation for this position The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $97,700. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
