We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team as a Hybrid or Remote employee . This role will take part in the company's financial operations primarily related to inventory accounting, driving strategic decision-making and optimizing processes as we continue to scale our business. A day in the life and how you'll make an impact: Maintain accurate and comprehensive inventory records across multiple locations and identify and investigate any discrepancies to general ledger Review all inventory movement transactions recorded in ERP for accuracy and edit, correct, input as necessary based on shipping and receipt records/documentation Conduct monthly inventory valuation using appropriate costing methods (standard or weighted average) and allocation of direct and indirect manufacturing costs Prepare reports including detailed inventory aging, detailed cost variance analysis, inventory turnover analysis Support month-end and year-end closing processes including providing requested audit support Assist with periodic physical counts to ensure accuracy of inventory per ERP and record adjustments as necessary Partner closely with the Operations department to align financial objectives with Operating processes Assist with other monthly close processes as needed including fixed asset accounting, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and AP activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in perpetual inventory and cost accounting Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries Strong experience with ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools Creative problem-solving skills Strong business partnership skills, especially with Operations teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Bonus if you have: Experience transitioning from periodic inventory accounting to perpetual inventory accounting Background in high-growth environments or with high-complexity capital equipment hardware Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and innovation Benefits we offer: Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision.
