Job Description The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for all safety, quality, productivity, and cost control for the production and machining departments. This position directly manages production operator & machinist positions. The overall safety, productivity, scrap, delivery, and consumable cost control reporting and management systems are the responsibility of this position. Strict adherence to all compliance policies and control is required. Resource planning, selection, and employee retention is critical for operational efficiency and success. Shift: Weekend Reporting: Director, Manufacturing Responsibilities: Directs and manages daily operations for machining and production departments processes and employees. Creates resource plan and ensure adherence to all policies and training expectations. Maintains safety and housekeeping standards as priority over production. Monitors functional KPI performance, analyses variances, and takes corrective actions. Promotes an expectation of continuous improvement. Holds employees accountable to established production goals and objectives. Assesses skill and creates internal succession plan for production operator roles. Plans production to minimize overtime and expedite costs while ensuring on-time delivery. Manages machining change over to maximize productivity and minimize the number of change overs. Ensures strict adherence to all compliance controls and ensures swift containment and countermeasure for any non-compliance. Operates within approved budgets for all direct labor, consumable, and MRO expenses. Communicates professionally and effectively to all levels of the organization. Maintains a positive attitude, exhibits self-initiative, and invests in employee development. Requirements Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations. 7+ years relevant experience in manufacturing environment3+ years in a direct supervisory position Able to lift 35 lbs. on occasion. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around parts, chemicals and tooling. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of work scheduled. Compensation: Salaried exempt position, including health, vision, dental, & disability insurance, PTO, and 401K benefits. Salary Description $65,000-$80,000
