Facilities Coordinator, Fostoria, OH (Location Negotiable Within AgCredit Territory) Responsible f or planning, directing and overseeing building operations and ensuring that existing facilities and equipment are safe and well-functioning. Works with management to develop long-term strategies toward physical presence in the marketplace and executes strategy around the Association's facility assets. Serves as the Association's project management representative and coordinates contractors and professional services to achieve strategic goals. Comply with all AgCredit, ACA policies and procedures while maintaining regular and punctual attendance as expected of this position. Responsibilities - Responsible for the general maintenance of the Association's buildings and grounds; overseeing and participating in building repairs, maintenance, supplies and operating equipment. General maintenance consisting of but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general repairs, etc. - Assists and coordinates all activities related to occupancy, construction, maintenance, relocation, and renovation of all the lending and administration offices. - Partners with tenants and owners to coordinate and assist in repairs and maintenance of their suites and common areas. - Ensures all facilities remain safe and meet relevant federal, state and local building codes. - Obtains competitive quotes for major repairs and additions or renovations to buildings. Responsible for checking that agreed work by contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies. Review and approve major repairs based on delegated authority. - Manages emergency calls in non-working hours responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise. - Maintains business recovery supplies. Serves as primary manager of all business continuity plans and efforts related to buildings and equipment. - Supervise the renewal of maintenance service contracts of all locations including repairs, maintenance, cleaning and security services. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field such as facilities management, business administration or a similar area or five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, construction, or similar field. - Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and basic repair skills. - Basic understanding of environmental regulations and County codes. - Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to review and prioritize maintenance requests and follow up in a timely manner. - Ability to multi-task, with strong planning and organizational skills. - Ability to use discretionary judgment in making sound decisions and solving problems. - Ability to work independently with a minimum of direction. - Ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers. - Professional appearance, strong communication skills and excellent work ethic. - Can meet the physical requirements of the role including, but not limited to: - Sitting/standing for long periods of time - Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of 50 pounds or more - Stretching, crouching, and/or reaching - Can navigate uneven terrain and obstacles associated with construction and maintenance - Ability to climb stairs or ladders as needed.
