Accounting Supervisor

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will contribute to the company's continued success by working with and supervising our accounting team to ensure that financial information is reported and analyzed in a timely fashion to upper management. The Accounting Supervisor must possess excellent supervisory and analytical skills and thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment while contributing to company growth. The Accounting Supervisor's responsibilities include performing or supervising the following: Ensure accurate classification of transactions in the general ledger Manage day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, A/R, A/P, inventory, job cost) Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and perform analytical reviews Prepare and review reconciliations of various general ledger accounts promptly Assist in annual pre-qualification applications Handle monthly and quarterly tax reporting (sales/use tax, fuel tax) Support management with recurring and ad hoc analyses Research and resolve financial transaction queries from management Provide leadership during company audits Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience Proficiency in monthly account reconciliations Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with annual external audits Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively Capacity to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks efficiently Our comprehensive benefits package includes: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Health Savings Account Ancillary coverages such as accident and cancer insurance 401(k) Vacation and sick pay Paid holidays If you think you are the right candidate for this challenging and rewarding career opportunity as an Accounting Supervisor, please apply now!
