Quality Manager

Responsibilities • Responsible for ensuring that quality systems are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the International Standard, TS 16949 specification. • Coordinates customer quality audits of our quality systems. • Coordinates annual improvements to the quality system, including procedures and application of APQP. • Identifies annual quality related training programs. • Established procedures and application of APQP. • Monitors quality performance in accordance with established procedures and identifies, evaluates and coordinates the implementation of improvements in products/processes. • Ensures quality data is accumulated, evaluated for necessary actions, and communicated to the appropriate personnel. • Participates in supplier quality audits ensuring compliance with ISO and TS 16949 as appropriate. • Coordinates internal quality audits and assists the management in corrective action implementation. • Assists in development and distribute control plans. • Establishes and maintains procedures to ensure purchased products conform to specifications and maintain records of supplier performance as appropriate. • Provides data for updated lists of approved suppliers. • Establishes incoming material inspection procedures. • Establishes and maintains procedures for product traceability. • Administers the compliance of PPAP requirements. • Establishes and maintains procedures for monitoring and control of special processes. • Establishes and maintains procedures for control and implementation of statistical techniques. • Ensures procedures for inspection and testing activities are established and documented. • Responsible for procedures and control for inspecting, measuring and testing equipment and maintaining records of same. • Develops and maintains procedures for non-conforming product and tracking progress to establish improvement plans for non-conforming products. • Communicates corrective action plans to customers. • Establishes and maintains procedures for control of quality records. • Perform all other assignments as directed. Experience • Minimum of 5 years field experience including statistical process control and TS 16949. • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience. • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning, PPAP, MSA and FMEA. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Internet, etc. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent quality experience.
