AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network to be accessible by standard smartphones. Called SpaceMobile, this ultra-powerful network is being designed to provide connectivity at 4G/5G speeds everywhere on the planet - on land, at sea and in flight. Summary: AST SpaceMobile is looking to hire an intern with embedded software experience to work on distinct tasks with the Flight Software team. Our team is developing the flight software for an upcoming satellite mission and need some short-term support in completing some work focusing on software development and testing. All tasks assigned will concentrate on development and test of flight software with some minor hardware involvement. Minimum Requirements: We are looking for someone who can dedicate 12+ hours a week (with pay) to the tasks at hand. Tracking any and all progress will be done via weekly remote meetings with the Flight Software team using Microsoft Teams. The intern will need a computer to be able to remote into the development environment in the lab.
