To apply to this position, please click on the link below: Realistic Job Preview It is the responsibility of the Assembler/Filter Products to pull required material to assemble all types of filters and filter assemblies, according to the Schroeder Bill of Materials. Utilizes various tools and equipment to assemble these products to manufacturing specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Assembles all required products and inspects material for compliance to manufacturing specifications using the work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings and instructions. Sets up and operates hydraulic and hand presses. Uses various hand-tools, power-tools (such as pneumatic torque wrench, screwdriver and electric drill) taps, and glues for assembling, wiring cleaning, rustproofing and handling filters and components. Inspects final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications. Works in other assembly support functions including but not limited to washing, testing, and repairing. Cross trains on different job tasks within the department. Utilizes company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required. Disassembles filters returned to SI for credit, as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Certificates and Licenses: Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification to drive a forklift is required. Other Requirements: Works overtime as required.
