Job Type Full-time Description Position Title: Team Lead Reports To: Regional Practice Director POSITION SUMMARY RETTEW is searching for a top-tier Senior Municipal Team Lead to oversee and guide the project managers, engineers, planners and subject experts on our Region 1 Municipal Team. Our Municipal group consists of municipal, township, and authority representation AND water/wastewater design and construction oversight services. The qualified candidate can skillfully develop, mentor, grow, and retain a team of talented employees while collaborating closely with our Practice Leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES To work with RETTEW leaders and team members in multiple markets, regions, and geographies leading toward RETTEW's and the Municipal team's success. Manage and oversee all project and team activities in the Region as detailed below, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Maintain and develop a high-performing (as measured by profitability, revenue, quality, high morale, and employee engagement), growth-focused team of project managers, engineers, planners and subject experts through the attraction, recruitment and retention of staff within the Region. Actively engage in client relationships through effective communication, customer service, and responsiveness to client needs with responsibility for project and service delivery. Identify business development opportunities in the region, build relationships with prospective clients, and pursue new projects and contracts. Identify and pursue opportunities with other Team Leads, Business Development leads, Regional Directors and Vice Presidents for company growth. Create and leverage relationships across RETTEW's practices and geographies to ensure service delivery and development of innovative solutions to client needs. Collaborate with other managers and leadership team members to support company-wide initiatives and goals. Develop and implement strategic plans, including annual goals and objectives for revenue growth, client satisfaction, and employee engagement. Establish a yearly regional operating budget and monitor the financial performance. Retain existing clients and expand business through cross-selling services. Lead regularly scheduled team, resourcing and marketing meetings. Function as project manager on high-profile, key, or complex projects Evaluate potential projects, clients, and contracts to assess and manage risk. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies/procedures. REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of progressively established experience in the engineering industry with an emphasis on staff, project, client, contract, and quality management. B.S. Degree in Engineering, Civil, Environmental or related Engineering preferred, MS or advanced business degree a plus. Due to the nature of this role, it's preferable that candidates reside near one of RETTEW's Region 1 PA office locations. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a large, diverse, multi-located team to achieve results. Proven track record of success in project management, business development, and client relations. Strong technical knowledge of Municipal discipline and Water/Wastewater market needs.
