Primetals Technologies, a worldwide leading engineering and manufacturer of capital equipment for the steel making industry, known for our strengths in mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, manufacturing, project management and service is hiring for the following position: Inside Sales Account Manager Overview: MSS/Long Rolling is accepting applications/resumes for the position of Inside Sales Account Manager. This position will be responsible for after-market / spares / services customers. Tasks will include the inquiry/proposal stage through the finance collection process as well as the administrative functions. A high visibility position, requiring excellent communication skills, commercial skills and a positive attitude. The position is fast paced and requires good time management and multi-tasking capabilities. Responsibilities: Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and developing sales reports and metrics Account Managers will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, the person will liaise with internal teams including proposals and engineering to support customer experience. This position requires occasional travel. (10%) Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory Analyze Business financial results, sales reports and other performance indicators Liaise with Finance to ensure proper recognition of Project Revenues and Cost Assist in monitoring Product planned cost and variance analysis Assist with challenging customer requests or issue escalations as needed Order management tasks for spares and service including but is not limited to: Weekly review of manufacturing status reports indicating progression of order Expediting internal and external suppliers to meet customer delivery requirements Correspondence with customer regarding order delivery status Customer credit limit management Accounts receivable collections assistance Required Knowledge/skills, Education and Experience: BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Proven interdisciplinary, cross-functional thinker. Selling and customer negotiation experience. Negotiations skills Travel = 10% Proficiency with the following software a plus: SAP R3/MOZARD MS WORD MS EXCEL Blueprint reading a plus but not required
