A reputable public accounting firm is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Entry-Level Tax Associate to join their team in Brooklyn. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses. Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Maintain organized records of financial documents and tax filings. Collaborate with senior accountants and other team members on various tax projects. Stay updated with current tax regulations and changes in tax law. Qualifications: BA in accounting or pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field, or having relevant certification. No prior public accounting experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
