Janitor

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high level of hygiene. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting any damages or repairs required. Ensure all areas are secured after cleaning and report any unauthorized individuals or suspicious activities. Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately. Assist in setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive and well-organized work environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods. Ability to handle basic maintenance tasks. Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed. Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
