Student - Off Campus Shuttle Driver

All we need is you. The opportunity Job Summary : SNHU operates an off-campus shuttle that is used to transport SNHU students to and from designated locations in the greater Manchester area. The off-campus shuttle operates on Saturdays from 12-8pm and on the first Friday of each month from 4-11pm. In this position, you will be expected to operate shuttle vehicles (mini-van/standard sized SUV) in a safe and efficient manner, maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations Assist passengers with loading and unloading if necessary Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition Report any vehicle malfunctions, maintenance needs, incidents to your supervisor Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have Collect contact information from passengers to ensure accurate records Participate in initial trainings and ongoing meetings (monthly) as required Perform other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to become an SNHU approved driver Ability to operate a passenger van or shuttle bus Good communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Comfort with driving a vehicle in various weather conditions Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays Good customer service skills Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU (minimum of X credits) Work-Study as part of the financial aid package Be in positive standing with Community Standards and Academics We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.
