Frontend Engineer, QuBIT

Description We are looking for candidates with strong obsession towards building a unified platform that enhances the users ability to bring engineering excellence to what engineers do. As a FEE, you will be responsible for challenging the status quo, raising the bar on every service and feature we build, driving the team's long-term vision and architecture, shaping roadmaps, and providing technical leadership to the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive design and architecture experience, deep hands-on front-end development experience, knowledge of AWS technologies and services, and a proven track record of building mission critical, highly scalable systems. You consider usability, accessibility, and performance in the products you build and work backward from the customer to anticipate their needs. You leverage your knowledge of the nuances, pitfalls and strengths of the various front-end development frameworks and associated best practices. Key job responsibilities As a Front End Engineer, you will: Actively participate in overall product strategy and UI presentation. Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features - from idea generation, exploring different design options, and technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns. Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers. Design highly functional and lovable UI. The software must be well tested and high quality. The UI must be compliant with accessibility standards set at Amazon. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
