Job Summary The Compensation Analyst supports the development, implementation and administration of Imprivata's global compensation programs. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing and designing compensation programs and policies to ensure they are competitive and aligned with the organization's goals. This role involves conducting market research, benchmarking salaries, and working with HR partners and business leaders to address compensation-related issues with as well as identifying trends, drawing conclusions and recommending policy and/or program changes. This position is based in Imprivata's Corporate Office in Massachusetts and reports to the Sr. Manager, Total Rewards. Duties and Responsibilities Perform analytical studies in a variety of areas, such as internal and external equity, competitive pay practices, incentive compensation, and emerging trends. Identify trends, draw conclusions and recommend policy and/or program changes. Administer and evaluate the company's compensation programs, including base salary, bonus, and incentive plans. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on compensation data, trends and recommendations. Provide ad-hoc compensation and benchmarking analysis in partnership with business leaders, Employee Experience, and Talent Acquisition on compensation related matters such as offers, promotions, and internal transfers. Process all documentation related to internal transfer and promotions. Assist with maintaining job descriptions - perform job evaluations for new, existing, or re-defined jobs to determine internal equity, exemption status (FLSA), and eligibility for variable pay plans. Assist in the administration of the annual compensation review cycle including managing timelines, auditing data, creating employee communications, etc. Create and manage documents and tracking related to Imprivata's annual and quarterly bonus programs. Manage salary structure creation and maintenance. Manage and maintain compensation data in HR information systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in compensation related databases. Contribute company data to compensation surveys and analyze results of compensation surveys. Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of compensation policies and procedures. Ensures company compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Other HR Responsibilities Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; completing research on matters of importance. Work closely with other HR team members to continually enhance compensation related employee communications, training, recruiting, and other initiatives. If applicable contribute to various orientation and training programs, department goals, and objectives Participate in applicable staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as needed. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Other duties as assigned and required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline. 3+ years of previous compensation or related analytical experience. Advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills with ability to manipulate and analyze data utilizing excel (vlookup functions, pivot tables, graphing) Ability to write reports with various HRMS reporting writing tools Skilled at taking large amounts of data and identifying the relevant information, making key insights, and turning it into presentable/understandable material for various audiences Experience with Payscale or other market pricing programs Experience creating and maintaining salary structures Attention to detail and ability to manage programs and projects with minimal guidance. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office. Must be self-motivated, flexible, energetic, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Discretion and ability to deal appropriately with confidential data. This position offers a salary range of $104,800.00 to $114,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
