LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with us to find a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant for a contract role at our marketing and PR company, specializing in healthcare advertising. This hybrid position requires two days on-site in Yardley, PA, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week. Job Title: Senior Accountant (Contract) Location: Yardley, PA (Hybrid - 2 days on-site) Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr. Key Responsibilities: Perform all standard senior accountant duties, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) regulations, focusing on internal controls and processes. Develop and implement fraud prevention measures and compliance strategies. Consolidate financial statements from subsidiary companies to present a comprehensive financial overview. Conduct reconciliations and manage financial data accuracy. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent financial practices and reporting. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Extensive experience with SOX compliance and internal controls. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fraud prevention and compliance strategies. Strong consolidation experience, particularly with global companies. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
