Cerity Partners is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Partner Development team for the summer of 2025. This is a paid internship program (40+ hours/week) and a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory. We are seeking hardworking and detail-oriented individuals who are interested in learning about the front-to-back operations of an Investment Management and Wealth Management firm. You will learn by doing and will gain direct hands-on exposure to corporate development initiatives including analyzing merger opportunities, tracking KPIs, managing relationships with strategic partners, and evaluating industry trends. You will work as a full-time intern from May-August in Chicago. Ideal Candidate Profile: Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA Major/concentration in business administration, economics or finance is a plus, but exceptional candidates from any major will be considered. A team player who leaves their ego at the door and welcomes feedback with the goal of continuous improvement Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills Attitude that no task is to small and willingness to do whatever tasks necessary to make sure that the work is done on time. Interest in finance, banking, wealth management and investments - we appreciate you may not know your major, which is just fine. Exceptional project management skills and organizational abilities. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
