Organization: PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD Position Overview: Provides short term (up to 5 sessions) direct clinical services to Sutter patients 18+ with a wide spectrum of social, emotional, relationship and mental health issues. This may include brief individual and group sessions for adults; completes initial biopsychosocial assessments, refers to community providers as needed for ongoing therapy needs. Works in partnership with physicians, other health practitioners and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning and is the principle team resource for all mental health matters. The position also collaborates with the other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in the field of behavioral health. **HYBRID REMOTE DAYS ELIGIBLE* (work from home and onsite) Job Description : Psychotherapist EDUCATION Master's: Degree in a Mental Health discipline or equivalent education/experience CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of recent relevant experience - individual psychotherapy with some Group therapy experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to assess the needs of the patient, provide high quality psychotherapy. Knowledge of assessment, care plan development and outcomes tracking methods. Candidate must have desire and ability to work as an active member of an interdisciplinary practice team led by physicians. Required to have knowledge of the most recent Board of Behavioral Science requirements and adhere to them. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE APA licensed within the area of expertise SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of human development, psychological treatment, and intervention modalities with adults. Knowledge of psychosocial factors relevant to mental health, such as personality, human growth and development; interpersonal relationships; group process; family dynamics; community integration and socioeconomic resource provisions, including the relevance of these factors for personal change in treatment. Knowledge of and adherence to American Psychological Association ethical standards. Knowledge of the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, and psychotherapeutic modalities and interventions, including psychotropic medications. Ability to effectively work with a wide range of psychiatric treatment problems. Ability to cooperatively work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Psychologist II Pay Range is $59.82 to $89.73 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
