The Sr. Procurement Manager role and responsibility is to scale and drive a centralized, efficient and "best in class" procurement function focused on business partnering and effective execution. This senior individual will build out and manage the procurement team, interfacing directly with our senior and executive staff, and will report to the Assistant Controller. What you'll do: Providing leadership and supporting our business partners through contract negotiation, supplier management and enabling in e-commerce purchasing technologies. Work closely with our business partners and assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and terms. Conduct bids or general use products and services, as well as support department-specific sourcing project. Review the current end-to-end procurement process to identify inefficiencies, propose suggestions for redesigning process flows, and implement design changes Creating strategies for procuring goods and services that meet the organization's needs. This can include analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers, and developing localization supplier relationships. Managing the procurement process from request to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and managing client expectations. Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements. This can include evaluating quality, pricing, and delivery time. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal business leaders, suppliers and vendors. Providing cost-benefit analysis and regular reports on procurement activities, highlighting key metrics, budget utilization, and any significant issues or improvements. Create, develop and standardize cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of software, hardware and services. Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement. Assist departments in maintaining compliance with all Company policies regarding contracting and purchasing Collaborate with legal and infosec teams to ensure vendor and supplier the appropriateness of contract terms and ensure compliance with all regulations and controls, including SOX. What you'll need: We are looking for someone who thrives on working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, and who is very motivated to delight customers and build a large and important enterprise cloud company: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited institution. 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement and purchasing management, finance, accounting or business operations. 4 years of experience in a high-growth cloud software company, both public and private. Expert in MS Excel, Google sheets, and procurement applications (Workday Preferred). Expert negotiator with vendors to drive best outcomes Self-starter willing to wear multiple hats and drive end-end procurement management for the organization. Excellent verbal, written, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $126,000 USD - $182,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
