Surgery - General Physician

We areseeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician to join our team in Plattsburgh,NY. This position requires a physician with the ability to manage a wide rangeof orthopedic trauma cases in a Level III trauma center. In addition to traumacases, the role will also involve performing elective procedures, with aprimary focus on total knee and total hip replacements. The position follows aMonday to Friday schedule, with shifts running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Physicians may also need to accommodate late afternoon add-on cases. Whilethere is no emergency department call or weekend operating room duties, theremay be potential for weekend rounding and patient call. Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Experience in orthopedic trauma and joint replacement procedures Active New York medical license or the ability to obtain one Plattsburghis a scenic city located along the shores of Lake Champlain in upstate NewYork, offering a variety of outdoor activities, from boating and fishing in thesummer to skiing and snowboarding in the nearby Adirondack Mountains during thewinter.
