The purpose of this position is act as the primary Finance contact for the Field Sales teams with responsibilities spanning both the Sugar and Fruit Snacks business units. As the Senior Financial Analyst on these accounts, they are the core Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise, analysis, and recommendations that enable efficient and effective decision-making within the business. This role is responsible for the execution, analysis, and preparation of period close, incremental funding requests, forecast analysis, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and ad hoc financial analysis to support the growth and strategic decision making of the business. This role works closely with the Field Sales, PRGM Strategy, Sales Strategy, Brand Finance and others in the development and execution of business plans to ensure delivery of net sales targets and profitable growth of our business. Ways you will make a difference Provide customer insight and analysis into drivers of change for key metrics: volume, price, margin and profitability by brand and/or pack-type Identify any fluctuations between the plan/forecast and actual sales trend, communicate with the sales team and develop solutions to drive sales Provide insights and analytics and work alongside Revenue Management to help the sales teams develop robust customer programming that delivers against AOP metrics and accurate business forecasts Execute trade management and support analysis for pricing events and promotions Communicate internally the status of all deductions via trade system Provide insights and analytics to Sr. Leadership to evaluate in-month and current quarter shipment estimates Execute net revenue and profitability analysis for incremental funding requests Assist with ad-hoc and cross-functional projects as required Eagerness to learn new skills and tools as needed to streamline work Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Skills that will make you successful Leadership - Ability to motivate and lead others on the team and cross-functionally to drive innovation and resolution Problem Solving - Ability to proactively identify and assess problems and implement appropriate solutions that demonstrate understanding of team strategies and objectives Verbal/Written Communication - Ability to adapt to and utilize multiple communication styles to effectively communicate in a concise detailed manner Interpersonal Skills - Ability to calmly listen, assess and clarify problems and respond with solutions Analytical - Ability to accurately compile, calculate and summarize data in a timely manner in such a way that assist in the decision-making process Team/Independence - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Organizational - Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively Experiences that will support your success Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred Minimum 3 years of experience with CPG preferred Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite Proficient Excel skills preferred SAP and/or High Radius experience is a plus
