Job Title: Risk Tech Analyst with Murex - SYN-005 Location: New York, NY, and Montreal, CN Duration: Long Term Direct Client Required Skills: Mid-level Role- Risk Tech analyst with Murex (Market risk, war, derivatives and some exp in Murex) . 6+ years (Front Office) and overall experience of 6 - 10 years. Job Description: Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Risk Management team to implement and enhance risk assessment processes using Murex platform. Conduct in-depth analysis of market risk, war risk, and derivatives to identify potential areas of exposure and propose effective mitigation strategies. Utilize Murex system to monitor and analyze trading activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies. Provide subject matter expertise on Murex functionality and contribute to system enhancements and upgrades. Assist in the development and maintenance of risk models and scenarios, including stress testing and scenario analysis. Generate and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Or Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree. 6+ years of relevant experience as a Risk Tech Analyst, with a strong focus on market risk, war risk, and derivatives. Proficiency in Murex platform, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated expertise in Front Office functions within the financial industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify potential risks. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
