Lead multi-disciplinary efforts in the analysis, design, development, and testing to finalize architecture specifications and create technical designs as they relate to application and/or integration requirements in the Salesforce platform. Handle Release Management and Release Pipeline for continuous integration and continuous deployment. Lead and participate in the development of the solution. Ensure overall platform health and platform architecture level best practices across multidisciplinary efforts. Build a program to proactively observe the platform including limits monitoring. Act as subject matter expert on VillageMD data platform and Salesforce schema, serving as subject matter expert on the VillageMD Salesforce data model. Participate in storyboarding and overall solution design and recommend alternate approaches, define technical impacts, and provide sizing estimates. Evangelize the capabilities of Salesforce platform and serve as a trusted advisor with business and technology stakeholders. Continually refine business acumen and establish domain / industry vertical expertise. Interface with clients and prospects to convey and validate solutions architecture. Collaborate with project team on partner solution design. Collaborate with other architects across the business to maintain platform health. Liaise with and -certified service partners on solution development. Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support. Define development and packaging methodology for application development. Collect, formulate, and disseminate best practices on solution and platform positioning and delivery. Articulate technical strategy and project status to technical and non-technical audiences. Work closely with Quality Assurance and Development teams to coordinate customer requirement functionality requests. Define integration strategies and methods, then plan them in accordance with established deadlines, best practices and time schedules. Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
