This is a 4+ month contract-to-hire role with a strong likelihood of full time conversion. This role reports into our Boston office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday). This role requires schedule flexibility and willingness to travel to store locations with advance notice. The Wayfair Physical Retail Talent Acquisition team is strategic to the company's overall success and continued growth. Our recruiters are true business partners, operate in lock step with the stores, and are charged with creating & scaling the hiring processes across 5 brands under Wayfair's umbrella (Wayfair, Joss & Main, All Modern, Birch Lane, and Perigold). The team is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented people leader who would focus on defining, building and driving the hiring strategy in our large box stores, focused on leading a team who will acquire top talent in new geographies with each new store launch. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for defining and building Wayfair's large box store recruitment strategy, creating & fostering a pipeline targeting talent in major metropolitan areas new to our brand, and ultimately driving the hiring process from beginning to end. Manage a team who will partner & support store leadership in driving the recruitment life cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating, and offer processes, while advising the store managers along the way. Potential to manage up to 8 recruiters by ensuring real time coaching, leading developmental discussions, and promoting Wayfair's robust performance culture. You'd absorb a team of 2, with the expectation to hire 6 contract recruiters in Q1 2025 ahead of 2 major store launches in Q4 2025. Partner closely with the Physical Retail corporate & store operations team to ensure you are delivering and meeting the business's entry level hiring needs via campus and the early careers pipeline. Manage relationships with key functional partners such as L&D, Workforce Management, and Talent Strategy Business Partners to set targets, coordinate interview rosters, processes, debriefs, and team placements. Manage relationships with key external partners including community partners, clubs/organizations, etc. to build efficient channels for sourcing and attracting folks interested in retail. Use data driven metrics and analysis to solve recruiting challenges and define success, translating metrics data into usable insights for stakeholders. Work to improve upon existing processes and develop innovative approaches around finding future talent. Represent Wayfair's culture by ensuring an excellent candidate experience through transparent communication and timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness. What You'll Need 4+ years of progressive experience in a relevant field preferably within programmatic recruitment or in a high-growth, fast paced environment. Experience managing recruiters and leading a team. Demonstrated experience building out a recruitment strategy and processes. Proven full lifecycle campus or programmatic, retail, or high volume recruiting experience. Strong relationship management skills with an ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders (across all functions) and candidates across varying job profiles. Ability to handle internal client management, work cross-functionally, action-oriented mind-set, provide strong customer consultative skills, with an ability to be responsive, tactful, and diplomatic. Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands. Drive and own the build and execution of end to end recruiting strategy. Demonstrated ability to use metrics and data to guide decision-making and measure ROI. Familiarity and comfort managing a defined budget (labor costs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About Wayfair Inc.
