Procurement Consultant

Job Number: R Procurement Consultant Key Role: Apply basic supply chain principles, theories, and concepts to the Supply Chain Management Organization. Work within the Booz Allen procurement system, contracts database, and with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Work in a high-volume, time sensitive operation. Leverage critical thinking, and written and oral communication skills. Support duties and assignments as directed, on an as needed basis by the Career Manager and Supply Chain Manager. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications: Experience with using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and in a remote-based collaborative team environment with minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, to prioritize effectively, and to seek input where needed HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience working in Procurement, Logistics, Hospitality, Health Care, or Customer Service or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in Procurement, Logistics, Hospitality, Health Care, or Customer Service Additional Qualifications: Experience with basic procurement procedures and processes, domestic and foreign banking information, corporate structure, and tax identification Experience with confidentiality and security practices related to sensitive and private data Knowledge of industry best practices and current developments and trends Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
