About CPC Climate Capital: CPC Climate Capital is a new subsidiary of The Community Preservation Corporation and will be a subrecipient of Climate United Fund, the recipient of a $6.97 billion grant from the National Clean Investment Fund established by the federal government as part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). CPC Climate Capital will use its subaward of approximately $2.4 billion to decarbonize multifamily housing by making subordinate debt financing available to owners of multifamily housing nationally. These investments will reduce or eliminate on-site fossil fuels, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our climate goals will be simultaneously delivered against other critical national priorities, including the creation and preservation of affordable housing, promoting equity and environmental justice, and supporting high-quality jobs. For more information, please visit Role Summary: The finance department at Climate Capital is responsible for corporate finance activities including financial planning and analysis, capital management, and business analytics for the Climate Capital Organization in coordination with the CPC Corporate Finance Team. The AVP Financial Planning and Analysis is a member of the Finance department senior team. This person will lead the FP&A function and be responsible for driving all activities related to financial planning and analysis and budget management including the analysis of Climate Capital performance trends, preparation of executive level and external presentations on behalf of Climate Capital, informing executive decision-making, budget oversight and other various strategic initiatives for Climate Capital. What You'll do: Lead the strategic development and management of long-term projections and analysis of performance for Climate Capital Analyze Climate Capital's performance and financial statements to create comprehensive performances analysis, translating data into actionable insights Prepare executive-level presentations outlining both financial findings, long-term projections, and other critical business analyses for internal (Climate Capital and CPC) and external audiences (Climate United management and board) Collaborate with Climate Capital business leaders and apply insights to quantify the financial impacts of operational performance, risks and opportunities Cross-functionally partner with the Climate Capital and CPC finance teams and leadership to enhance analysis of company performance through complex models, monthly reporting, and key performance indicators Manage capacity, capital allocation, and liquidity through modeling, and analysis Provide ongoing research of trends in the macroeconomic environment and present findings to management Oversee the budget management process Collaborate with the Finance department and cross-departmental projects as required Skills and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field is required. An Advanced Degree is preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years' finance experience, preferably in a consulting, real estate, or banking environment with progressively increasing responsibilities. Demonstrated understanding of financial analysis concepts as well as a solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Comfortable managing a small team and multiple projects with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced setting. Must be self-motivated, as a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Results-oriented - strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through. Extensive experience with advanced Excel analytic functions associated with building financial models. Expertise in Power Point and the creation of executive-level presentations is required. Detail orientated with good communication skills. The salary range is $120,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience.
