WGL - Field Asset Systems Specialist

Job Description As a Field Asset Systems Specialist, you'll support Washington Gas's Meter Services and Leak Survey Operations by ensuring data accuracy and resolving system discrepancies. This role is ideal for professionals with relevant experience who are ready to expand their skills in a dynamic, essential industry. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies in meter and asset data across utility management systems Communicate effectively with field supervisors to verify and resolve data issues Develop and maintain process documentation and conduct training sessions for clerical and field staff Support software upgrades and assist with ongoing system improvements Qualifications High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in utilities, gas, or field asset management roles Proficiency with data management tools (Excel) and familiarity with utility systems (e.g., SAP, Itron) preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of gas utilities or meter services is a plus For Canadian hires : AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
