Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for executing sales strategy and growth initiatives as directed by Director of Business Development. Personally build and maintain relationships with key customers, helping sales team develop impactful territory plans and strategies, and leading the sales staff to achieve results. Monitor and track quality and quantity of each direct report's sales activity Communicates on a regular basis with each team member to discuss progress to goals and provides support for overcoming barriers Collaborates with operational counterparts to ensure there is a collaborative approach to meeting patient and referral source needs Report on a regular basis to the director of business development on performance to key objectives Responsible for hiring, coaching, developing, and performance management of direct reports Responsible for collaborating with the sales training team on new hire training plans and onboarding all direct reports Review and approve expense reports for all direct reports Responsible for retention of sales personnel through on-boarding, coaching, mentoring, and development. Monitors key performance indicators and is responsible for implementing corrective measures. Responsible for partnering with all business development counterparts to collaborate on payer, health system, and acquisition opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Four-year college degree preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare sales/management preferred Minimum 2-year management experience preferred Ability to travel on a regular basis (60% Travel) Effective mentoring of subordinate staff Must possess a keen ability to motivate and manage others with a positive mental outlook and forward thinking Strong problem-solving skills Time management skills Change management skills Results driven Experience with new product launches Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and electronically Must reside within an area of primary responsibility
