Job Description As a part of Aptiv's Signal & Power Solutions segment, Intercable Automotive Solutions (IAS) is a spin-off of the Mutschlechner Entrepreneurial Group, which created and developed the diversified Intercable Group through 50 years of development and multi-sector industry leadership. IAS is an industry leader in high voltage power distribution and connection technologies. Your Role In your daily job you will: Customer management of existing customers and acquisition of new customers. Actively pursue new opportunities at customer, exhibiting a 'hunter' mentality Supervise the entire quote process, from the RFI to the nomination. Work with internal department such as design team, process engineering team in order to ensure an effective quoting process. Manage all commercial aspects such pricing, customer approvals for new products, SOP support and cash collection in coordination with internal functions, EOP management. Sales Forecasting. Negotiation of price increase due to raw material increase, call off oscillation. Drive growth and profitability strategies at the accounts. Maximize Customer intimacy at all Departments: Purchasing, Engineering, Quality etc. Lead the Voice of the Customer at Intercable. Communicate technical requirements and trends back to Intercable. Survey the market trend to anticipate customer request. Contribute to new technologies proposal and support Engineering team in front of the customer. Your Background Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your: Bachelor Degree Minimum 3 years' experience in the automotive (OEM or suppliers) industry, specifically in a role focused on sales processes. Technical background in plastic and metal processing, HV connections or relative components. Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong direct customer and result orientation. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Local resident of the metro Detroit area with ability to work on site Ability to legally work in the U.S. without requirement for any type of visa sponsorship or transfer (H1b, OPT, TN) now or at any time in the future.
