The Opportunity: We are looking for an onsite HR Manager who is business minded, self-motivated, and has exceptional people skills. You will be responsible for the administration and performance of the Human Resources operations. This includes performance management, training, and development, staffing and recruiting, legal compliance, compensation administrations, benefits administration, employee relations, and safety and health. Job Responsibilities: This position reports to the site President and supports the overall strategic goals of the company. Working closely with managers and supervisors to create a performance driven culture supported by robust HR programs. Performance Management - Assure the annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Training and Development - Ensure that the organization meets or exceeds training objectives to ensure competent level of individual and operational performance. Staffing and Recruiting -Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews. Legal Compliance - Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws. Compensation - Administer compensation programs to assure competitive total reward practices, aligned with corporate strategies, and fair pay practices. Benefits - Administer benefit enrollment process and assist employees with claim processing issues. Employee Relations - Develop systems and programs that promote positive employee relations and employee engagement. Policies - Ensuring that employees follow company policies and best practices. Safety and Health - Ensure local programs are established to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for associates. Oversees the administration of workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier to reduce employee lost time. HRIS/Payroll - Responsible for maintaining HRIS data and support the processing of weekly payroll. HR budget - Will be responsible for setting up and maintaining budget for the Human Resources department. Monthly company reporting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent preferred. 5+ years of HR experience with 2+ years in an HR Manager role preferred. Manufacturing or industrial experience desired. ADP experience preferred. Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP or other HR Certificate program is highly preferred.
