Industry-leading performance-based bonus program 100% employer-funded ESOP to all associates Traditional and Roth 401k Tuition reimbursement for associates Scholarship for associates children up to $28,000 per child 1-month paid sabbatical after every five years of employment, plus $5,000 for travel 1-week paid volunteer leave each year 100% charitable match Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 3 weeks of vacation 100% paid 12-week maternity leave A DAY IN THE LIFE: Attend meetings with design/build professionals to understand project requirements Research and collect site specific information to initiate the land development process Design and draft land development concept plans for multifamily residential, commercial, and industrial projects Produce colored renderings of land plans Perform site investigative due diligence Prepare schematic site plan, grading & utility plans Prepare schematic site plans to illustrate site developability based on site constraints Perform storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to best inform site planning effort for cost and constructability Review project design drawings to assist project management team Work with contracting team to value engineer sites Assist with civil/site training for associates Meet with customers to review concept plans, discuss advantages to multiple approaches, and work to define direction of project with design/build contracting team NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Civil Engineering or other Engineering or Design discipline 5-15 years of engineering and land planning experience Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required. ARCO will support the pursuit of licensure AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Project and Excel
