Job Type Full-time Description Summary: The position of Business Banking Administrator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Loan Operations function in the bank while coordinating various departmental activities for optimum efficiency and economy. This position also oversees, directs, and has ultimate responsibility for the Business Banking Administrators. Essential Duties: Oversees the management of and is responsible for the performance of Business Banking Administrators Directs and coordinates daily loan operations through subordinate personnel - department activities and functions including processing of business credit card requests/applications, managing the loan process from request to closing, getting credit and loan file information into the bank's image capture system, coordinating timely handoffs to the loan operations area for booking/funding new credit actions, assuring new loans are documented consistently with the terms approved in the credit presentations prior to closing, and understanding and adhering to processes and procedures developed to ensure processing of a high volume of loans and other information in a timely, accurate, standard, and consistent method. Oversees and monitors personnel actions for the Business Banking Administrators such as recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions and disciplinary or dismissal measures. Gives work directives, resolves problems and sets deadlines to ensure completion of department operational functions. Understands the fundamentals of commercial and ag lending and loan and credit documentation. Understands the credit products offered by the bank. Understands the deposit/cash management/electronic banking products that the bank offers. Develops, creates and implements new procedures based on regulations, core processes and efficient practices. Identifies and resolves operational problems - develops and implements alternative methods for work improvement and department consistency, and communicates them effectively to direct reports and other departments. Works in connection with lenders to oversee the collection of customer signatures on required credit and loan file documentation, assists with origination of new loans/modifications/other documents as directed by the lenders. Requirements Qualifications: These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines. Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university; or five or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in business, management and supervisory skills. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry. Knowledge of banking regulations is preferred. Proficient typing skills and knowledge of business software (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.) to meet production needs of the position. Proficient math skills; calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. Ability to multi-task and work in fast pace environment while still maintaining accuracy and quality work output. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties. Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
