Procurement Sourcing and Operations Manager Apply now Date: Oct 14, 2024 Location: Mason, MI, US Company: Dart Container The Procurement Sourcing and Operations Manager is responsible for the financial and operational performance within the assigned commodities. The Procurement manager will partner with end-to-end cross functional teams and business commercial leaders and ensuring lowest total cost of ownership for the company. The position performance will be measured based on total value creation: financial performance, quality, service, innovation, sustainability, sourcing strategy, and compliance adherence. Day to Day Role: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities Negotiate long-term strategic supply contracts at advantaged pricing vs the overall market Manage the fundamentals of sourcing and supplier engagement activities including RFPs, spend analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract completion, and supplier consolidation Plan and approve resources, and delegate Procurement projects to appropriate teams Review, approve, and communicate standardized practices and procedures for Procurement activities Build strategic relationships with internal business partners and commercial leaders Establish a robust understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned suppliers and spend categories Prepare and hold business reviews with key stakeholders to review supplier performance, future opportunities, and/or challenges Develop strong partnerships with strategic suppliers and ensure collaborative working relationships Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess all of the following: Bachelors degree required with an emphasis in business, engineering or supply chain, preferred Ten (10) years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or relevant field Five (5) years of leadership experience Supervisory experience required with strong leadership and management skills Proven leader in implementing change across a multi-location operations environment, including cross-functional team facilitation Detailed understanding and experience implementing best practices in the areas of purchasing and materials management Detailed understanding of purchasing related documents such as purchase orders, requisitions, quotations, bills of lading, contracts, invoices, etc. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Masters degree with emphasis in business or supply chain SAP ERP or SAP Ariba application experience Overview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
