LEAD HOUSEMAN - BANQUET - FULL TIME

Overview: The incumbent in this position is responsible for cleaning operations in our Banquets area, ensuring the banquet space is supplied with clean dishes and silverware according to business needs. As well as setting up banquet areas for events. Responsibilities: Banquet Lead Houseman Signs out necessary keys and assures that they are turned in at the end of each shift. Reviews all function sheets and sets up each function room accordingly. Ensures that all items required, are provided prior to scheduled time of function. Leads and directs housemen according to BEOs. Continually checks meeting rooms for necessary items including ice, beverages, etc. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all function space. Breaks down all equipment at the end of the function and returns it to the appropriate location for storage. Arranges equipment as directed by the Supervisor. Reports any maintenance needs to the Head Banquet House Person. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard free work environment. Other Duties as Assigned. Qualifications: This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of one-year progressive experience within the Banquets Department. Must successfully pass background check. Must successfully pass drug screening. Must be 21 years of age. Additional Details: ABILITY TO: Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed. Deliver programs which create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Review and comprehend all necessary documentation. Inspect and maintain all areas for which responsible. Stock and retrieve supplies as needed. Ability to move chairs and tables.
