Summary We are currently seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join our Governmental Services team in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. This is a great opportunity for an EIT- Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects for our municipal clients. You will be working side-by-side with a team of knowledgeable engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters collaboration and career development. Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria. Take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, and utilities. Performs research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of project work or inspection. Assists in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates. Completes field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff. Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members. What are we looking for? A candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in relevant discipline. A candidate with zero to four years of relevant engineering experience. A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.). A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in Civil3D is preferred. Why join HR Green?
