Position Overview: As a Sous Chef/Kitchen Roundsman, you will assist in all areas of the kitchen, working multiple stations, including saut, grill, banquets, and la carte lunch. You will have the opportunity to train and guide fellow kitchen staff, contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment. We offer a flexible schedule with AM and PM shifts available, a potential 4-day work week, and no late nights. Pay is negotiable depending on experience, ranging from $25 to $30 per hour. Responsibilities: Assist in all aspects of food preparation, maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation. Work multiple stations, including saut, grill, banquets, and la carte lunch service. Train and guide fellow kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and safety. Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience preferred. Proven experience working multiple stations in a high-volume kitchen. Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and willingness to lead by example. Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interact with members and staff. Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
