Accounting Director

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director to oversee our client's accounting department's daily operations. The Accounting Director responsibilities will include maintaining a well-structured accounting system, managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Accounting Director , have a strong knowledge of all accounting principles and regulations and a knack for managing and supervising a team. Accounting Director Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements Manage and oversee the annual audit Train and mentor accounting staff Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends Work closely with the management team to share reports and analysis findings Accounting Director Requirements: Proven work experience as an Accounting Director or similar role Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and accounting for investments Knowledge of accounting software Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP) An ability to strategize and solve problems Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and people skills CPA is a strong advantage BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is required; MSc/MA is a plus If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
