Ruder Finn is seeking a talented SEM Manager, to join our integrated digital marketing team. This person should have a genuine interest and curiosity about digital marketing, including strategy, platforms & technology, optimizations, targeting, campaign activation/management and reporting analysis, with experience executing paid search campaigns (Google Ads & Bing Ads) to help meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities SEM: Establish and refine SEM ad campaigns (including PMAX & Shopping) across multiple platforms (i.e., Google Ads, Bing, etc.), which includes tasks such as keyword research, pacing, A/B testing of messages, ongoing campaign & bid strategy optimization, along with reporting on key metrics SEM copy development aligned with brand messaging and best practices for optimal performance (utilizing proper keywords, etc.) Aid in weekly/monthly/quarterly SEM reporting deliverables, pulling data and synthesizing results into easy-to-understand insights Tap SEMrush and other relevant tools for campaign optimization and competitive insights General: Extract and analyze data/metrics for client reports, ensuring you understand platform-specific analytics and Google Analytics/GA4 (proficiency in Shopify or a similar platform a plus) Assist in the setup of accurate tagging and tracking parameters to assess media performance, attribution, and measurement of results across a variety of paid marketing channels (including but not limited to paid SEM, YouTube, Google Shop, affiliate, programmatic display, email, paid social, and referral programs) Participate actively in team meetings and client discussions, contributing data-driven ideas on strategy to support client goals Review performance in connection to client sales (where able on specific eCommerce clients) and conversion/intent objectives Maintains awareness of industry trends and impact to client & assigned accounts Assist in conducting competitive and category-specific research Qualifications 3+ years of experience in SEM for consumer/health brands; eCommerce and/or pharma experience a plus Must have experience with: Google Ads, Bing Ads, GA4, Google Ads Editor Bonus experience: Shopify, Magento, or other eCommerce platforms, international/multilingual search engine marketing, Google Tag Manager Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle tasks for multiple client accounts and meet competing deadlines A self-starter who has strong problem-solving skills and is always curious to learn more; is driven to own your work and responsibilities Creative in approach, but data informed Great energy, curiosity to do and learn new things to support agency growth and offerings Detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital/integrated marketing, or related field preferred Benefits & More You will receive a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity You will also be able to enroll in our Health, Dental, Vision, company paid Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, as well as 401k (match) plan. This role is eligible for overtime pay.
